You will be supporting the test framework development and operations throughout the lifecycle of Hardware development across Labs, Manufacturing sites, and Data Centers to ensure that operations run reliably and end to end test results are captured for tracking hardware quality in manufacturing testing.

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

Job Description:

• Administer custom built server and storage hardware at Meta Labs and remote manufacturing sites, from imaging bare metal systems to debugging installation and operational issues.

• Help train remote Hardware test engineers and factory operators on how to use and administer the test framework. Document procedures and protocols.

• On Demand software and firmware upgrades in the server and its components

• Define, execute, and report on regression testing of the test framework releases

• Installation and Configuration of Software Packages with Ansible for fully automated remote upgrades

• Monitor the stability of the Server and Software stack and troubleshoot / fix any issues.

• Provide On-Call support to remotely resolve any issues with the Server or Software packages.

• Participate in Weekly calls with Vendors/ODM (Original Device Manufacturers) in understanding any issues or enhancement requests and address them.

• Develop and fix python scripts to support manufacturing testing in Linux environment.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on industry experience in the following:

• Linux system administration experience

• Good knowledge of PXE server setup, troubleshooting network installations.

• Linux script development for Server, Storage, and/or Network testing (Python preferred)

• Debug set up and test failures to root cause in the Linux environment.

• Test execution experience in Linux environment using Open-Source tools.

• Remote test execution and debugging.
