ERP Implementation Specialist - NetSuite

Our client, an internationally expanding company with a strong presence in the Medtech sector, is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Manager to lead the full implementation and optimization of a new ERP system. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional eager to build an ERP infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration with existing business-critical systems
ERP Implementation Specialist responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end implementation of a new ERP system, from initial selection and planning to deployment and long-term optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyse business needs, define system requirements, and develop scalable ERP workflows.
- Configure and customize the ERP system to align with business processes, ensuring security, compliance, and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain data integrity through structured audits, reporting mechanisms, and automated controls.
- Train and support internal teams on ERP usage, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring user adoption.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline recurring tasks and reporting processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP vendors and implementation partners, managing relationships and contract negotiations.
- Oversee system integration with key platforms such as CRM, HRIS, and data warehouses to enable seamless data flow across departments.
ERP Implementation Specialist requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing ERP systems, with proven expertise in full-cycle ERP implementation from the ground up.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite ERP platform
- Deep understanding of finance and German accounting principles, including revenue recognition, group consolidation, P&L, balance sheets, taxes, and audit compliance.
- Extensive project management experience, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- A proactive problem solver with a structured and analytical approach to troubleshooting complex system challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English and German (preferred), with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
- Experience with automation technologies, such as Robotic Process Automation (e.g., UiPath), is a plus.
