In the Product Integration Environment Release Automation department, we have several stakeholders from system management, development team, engineering environment, solution testing and customer units. It gives us a unique overview of the product development flow.

You would work in a test program for a Packet Core Cloud Native product, with  non-functional test and test environment. You would guide and follow up on non-functional test case development, automation and processes. The focus would be on validating and improving the test channels in our in-house lab.



What You Will Do



The job offers a variety with few recurrent tasks.  You need to enjoy working hands- on with new challenges and be an excellent trouble shooter.

  • You will act as a bridge between test teams and the infrastructure teams to validate that new and modified test channels meet the requirements. Synchronize so that test environment evolution matches product maturity and evolution.
  • You would  participate in development of test architecture e.g. prototyping work in the test [lab] environment.
  • You would collaborate with Release program, development teams and Infrastructure / tools teams with regards to test tools, processes, test environment and test methods.
  • You would continuously initiate activities to make testing more efficient and effective. drive improvements and give input to the test and lab strategy.
  • You would collect, optimize, and visualize the lab need and usage with close collaboration with the Infrastructure teamand Test Architects. Spread awareness regarding the efficient and effective usage of our test channels.

What You Will Bring

  • Test Knowledge: Knowledge about SW Quality Assurance, test frameworks, CI/CD tools and technology stacks.
  • Knowledge about the 4G/5G Packet Core products and Could Native.
  • Problem solving: You need to enjoy and excel at trouble shooting. You generate innovations and come up with concepts of how to make our testing more effective. You create scripts in Python to facilitate work if needed.
  • Understanding HW architecture, switches, and route protocol would be an advantage. It is good to have hands on experience with RH OpenShift and Ericsson’s Cloud Execution Environment.
  • Communication skills: As you work with many different stakeholders you need to be able to adapt your communication to the given situation.
  • Degree: BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Mathematics, Telecommunication or the equivalent level of knowledge.

Role requires relocation to Krakow, Poland
